Your Privacy at Method Air

This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to do the work you asked us to do, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount that is collected automatically when you browse this site.

Information you give us

When you request service, apply for a job, or refer someone through a form on this site, or when you call us, we collect what you provide. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • The service address where work would be performed
  • The service you are asking about and any details you type into the notes field
  • For job applications: the role you want, your experience, and a resume or profile link you choose to share
  • For referrals: the name, phone number and city of the person you are referring, plus anything you tell us about what they need

If you refer someone, please make sure they know you are passing along their contact details. We use those details only to reach out about the work you referred them for.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or search that sent you here. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working properly.

Your theme preference, light or dark, is stored in your own browser so the site remembers it. It never reaches our servers.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your request, schedule service, and get a technician to the right address
  • Send quotes, appointment confirmations, arrival updates and invoices
  • Follow up about work we performed, including warranty and maintenance reminders
  • Review job applications and contact applicants
  • Process and pay out referral rewards
  • Keep records required for warranties, permits, insurance and our own accounting
  • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements

Text messaging and SMS

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your service: confirming an appointment, letting you know a technician is on the way, sending a quote, or following up after a visit. You can also reply to those messages to reach us.

Consent

You consent to receive text messages from us when you give us your mobile number, whether that is on a form on this site, over the phone, or in person. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any text message from us and we will stop sending them. You will get one confirmation message, and nothing after that. You can also ask us to stop by calling (385) 351-5662, emailing service@methodairutah.com, or writing to the address at the bottom of this page.

Opting out of text messages does not stop us from contacting you by phone or email about work you have asked us to do. If you want to stop that too, just tell us.

Getting help

Reply HELP to any message, or call (385) 351-5662.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your service activity with us. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share or sell your mobile number, or the fact that you opted in to text messages, with anyone for their own marketing purposes. That information stays with us and the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your phone number and your text messaging consent are never shared for marketing purposes, by anyone, at any time.

We do share limited information with companies that help us run the business. They may only use it to provide their service to us, and they may not use it for their own purposes. These include:

  • Our website host and form provider, which receives what you submit through a form on this site
  • Our scheduling and customer management software, which holds your job history and appointment details
  • Our text messaging and phone providers, which deliver calls and messages for us
  • Analytics providers, which receive usage data about this site as described below
  • Payment processors and, if you apply for financing, the financing company you choose to apply with, which handles its own application under its own privacy policy
  • Accountants, insurers and lawyers where needed

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect the safety or rights of someone, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. If that ever happens, this policy would continue to apply to the information transferred.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site, such as which pages get visited and which lead to a call. These tools set cookies and collect usage data including your IP address.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across all sites. The site works fine either way.

Some pages embed a Google map so you can see the area we serve. Loading a map means Google receives a request from your browser, subject to Google's own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them to service your equipment, honor warranties, and meet tax, insurance and legal requirements. Job applications are kept while we consider the role and for a reasonable period afterward. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, as described above
  • Ask us to stop calling or emailing you about marketing or follow-ups
  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it

To make any of these requests, call us or write to the address below. We may need to verify who you are before we act on a request about someone's personal information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections on this site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and work with established providers.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes to how we handle your information will be made clear on this page.
